Carrie’s Cafe is where patients, artists, volunteers, and friends gather around a meal and the Blues. It is the Friday-night heart of Project Blues—a room where nobody is treated like a diagnosis and everybody belongs.
The album grew from that room and from the memory of Bear’s sister, Shelly. Her loss planted the seed that became Project Blues.

Mike Berichon
Songwriter. Executive producer. Bluesman. Founder of Project Blues. Bear came to the Blues later in life and found there what he had always valued: honest work, lasting friendships, and a way to turn pain into purpose.
